Today I received a $10 tip. It was personally delivered to me by a lesbian couple who commented how how the food I served was great.
I also was treated to a drink of my choice (strawberry cider) by a jolly and well-funny Caucasian who sat right in front of my kitchen's window.
My bar manager once peered into the kitchen to say, "compliments to you Emily".
I cannot take full credit for today's performance. The new head chef has definitely made improvements to the recipes.
Am now feeling tired but awesome.
